US earthquake: magnitude 3.5 tremors in South Pasadena; California wakes up to tremors

Tremors struck the California city just before 10 a.m. The USGS reported that the seven-mile-deep earthquake struck about 2.3 miles northeast of South Pasadena and 2.4 miles east-northeast of Alhambra. Although no direct damage or injuries were recorded, online accounts claimed the earthquake was also felt throughout Los Angeles County.
