Biden wears Kansas City Chiefs helmet during Super Bowl celebration at White House, Travis Kelce says he may be ‘tasted’ by Secret Service

President Joe Biden invited the Kansas City Chiefs to the White House on Friday to celebrate their second straight Super Bowl victory. The team was gathered on the South Lawn and stood behind Biden as the president congratulated the Chiefs on their victory. Biden also commented on their back-to-back victory, referencing Biden’s campaign in the upcoming presidential election.

After the Super Bowl parade shooting, Biden also acknowledged the team’s efforts to comfort fans. Fans initially criticized the team for partying after a woman was fatally shot and eight others were injured.

After Biden’s speech, coach Andy Reid presented the president with a Chiefs helmet. Some players cheered and encouraged Biden to wear the helmet. After putting it on, Chiefs players gave Biden a round of applause and more cheers.
