Harford Mall shooting: Bel Air police issue warning, no suspect information

An incident that probably involved gunfire Harford MallPolice on Sunday prompted an immediate evacuation of the area, according to Bel Air police. Maryland’s municipal law enforcement agency used social media to warn Harford County residents not to flock to the area. A joint investigation was launched by police and other local authorities following a rapid response to the shooting near the mall. It was not clear if anyone was injured in the incident reported from the 600 block of Belair Road.

“AVOID THE HARFORD MALL AREA WHILE WE INVESTIGATE A SHOOTING,” Bel Air police wrote in a post on Facebook.
