Brain & Courtlin head to Jones County for the June Listeners Luncheon

A few months ago we shared with you that a new restaurant has opened in Anamosa. Well, we’re happy to announce that we’ll be heading to that new restaurant for the Listener Lunch in June! We say goodbye Stadium bar & grill in Cedar Rapids, and say hello to…

Boondocks at 130 E Main Street in Anamosa!

Boondocks originally started as a store at 202 W Main Street in Anamosa, but has since transformed into a store AND restaurant in their new location. In fact, the restaurant is currently preparing to launch a brand new menu next Thursday (May 29)! We don’t know much about the menu yet, but we do know that it will feature two new burgers. The first is called the Ranch Hand, and it’s a great burger topped with provolone cheese, fried ranch cheese curds, shredded lettuce, and a ranch drizzle. The second is the Boondocks House Burger, which is topped with American cheese, bacon, pickles, onion straws, and their house sauce. The photos are posted above! Other previous menu items include tenderloins, sandwiches, desserts, a variety of appetizers and weekly specials.

We will enjoy everything Boondocks has to offer during the month of June and you and your colleagues are very welcome! If you are selected, we will meet on Tuesday at 11:30 am. You can then take six additional people with you. All you have to do is come in HERE! It’s rare that we have lunch outside of Linn County, so we hope to choose winners in Jones County this month!

Just a reminder: if you come in for the Listeners’ Lunch, please leave a phone number that you can answer on Friday around 9:00 am. That’s when we typically call our newest winner to verify if he or she can attend the luncheon the following week. If you do not answer the phone, we cannot choose you. We hope to see you in June!
