On Sunday, May 26, at 1:44 a.m., Wilton police stopped a 2015 Hyundai traveling north on Danbury Road at a high rate of speed. According to their report, the driver, Brian Borruso, 29, of North Scituate, RI, appeared to be under the influence of alcohol or alcohol. drugs. During the investigation, Borruso admitted to drinking alcohol before driving, and police say he failed to perform standardized field sobriety tests.

Domenico Caratozzolo, 21, of Mollbrook Drive in Wilton, turned himself in at the Wilton Police Department on May 20. A warrant had been issued for his arrest when he failed to appear in court after being charged with driving with a suspended license and failure to issue a driver’s license. the right of way.

Caratozzolo was booked and processed, and paid 10 percent of his $5,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on May 29.
