Activision and Microsoft merger gets fast-track review in Delaware

A Swedish state pension fund can join an accelerated procedure to complete the merger of Microsoft Corp. and Activision Blizzard Inc. worth $69 billion, the Delaware Chancery Court has ruled.

Chancellor Kathaleen St. Jude McCormick granted Microsoft and Activision’s motion to expedite, along with Sjunde AP-Fonden’s motion to intervene, during a conference call on Tuesday, according to an order.
