Six-foot-three linebacker Jaiden Braker plans five official visits

Just over two weeks ago, Jaiden Braker announced that he had received a scholarship from Kentucky Football. Wildcats defensive coordinator Brad White visited Braker at his high school in Georgia and offered him in person.

Fast forward to this week and Braker has now taken an official visit to Kentucky. The 6-foot-1, 210-pound linebacker from Snellville (GA) South Gwinnett will be in Lexington the weekend of June 21-23, he tells KSR. Braker will also officially visit South Carolina (May 31), Rutgers (June 7), Utah (June 14) and NC State (June 19). A sixth visit to another school could also be planned.

Before setting up the OV, Braker told KSR+’s Jacob Polacheck earlier this week that he is “really interested” in what Kentucky has to offer. The Wildcats get the last (as currently scheduled) shot to make a throw, which is notable because Braker also told Polacheck he would like to make a quick decision.

Braker is currently not ranked in the On3 Industry Ranking. The only service that recognizes him in the rankings is 247Sports, which considers him a three-star recruit and a top 60 rising senior in the state of Georgia. That said, a ratings increase could be on the way. Braker didn’t receive his first Division I offer until January, after his junior season ended.

Indiana was the first major major to make a bid on Jan. 23. Cincinnati, Georgia Tech and California, along with the five schools he will officially visit, have all since offered him. Braker is a prospect on the rise and one that Kentucky clearly sees potential in. The month of June will be an important month for him.
