MINNEAPOLIS – The University of Minnesota football team has announced its full 2024 schedule for the upcoming season. The fourth season of the Chastain era will feature 20 games, including 10 at home and road trips to Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, California, Ohio and Pennsylvania.

Minnesota will kick off August with an exhibition at Iowa State on August 7. The Golden Gophers’ first home game will be an exhibition on August 10 against South Dakota.

The regular season begins on Thursday, August 15 against Creighton at home, followed by three road games at St. Thomas (August 25), Milwaukee (August 29) and Marquette (September 1).

Minnesota will return to host Army (Sept. 5) and Brown (Sept. 8) before conference play begins.

The Gophers open their Big Ten slate on the road at Illinois (Sept. 12), and will be back at Elizabeth Lyle Robbie Stadium the following Sunday to host NDSU in their final non-conference game (Sept. 15).

Other Big Ten road games include Wisconsin (Sept. 22), USC (Sept. 26), UCLA (Sept. 29), Ohio State (Oct. 10) and Penn State (Oct. 13).

Home conference games at ELR include Michigan (September 19), Northwestern (October 4), Maryland (October 17), Indiana (October 20) and Iowa (October 27).

Gopher Soccer season tickets are expected to go on sale June 4. Tickets for individual matches will go on sale in mid-July.
