Henderson County Schools are starting a summer meal program

HENDERSON — Children in Henderson can eat free during the summer through the Henderson County Schools summer meal program.

The program is running now and will continue through the summer. Adults who want to eat with their children must pay $3.50. According to the school organization, meals must be consumed on site.

Mobile routes and school locations are only available through June, but meals will be available at the JFK Center and the Salvation Army in July.
