CT city makes list for a ‘less busy New England summer’

Are you tired of crowded summer beaches and bustling sidewalks in favorite destinations like Cape Cod or the Hamptons?

The folks at Condé Nast Traveler have highlighted one Connecticut town to visit to escape the hustle and bustle of Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard for a scenic New England experience.

You can probably guess where they went: Mystic, Connecticut.

The legendary city drips with classic New England character, from the Cape Cod-style homes to the breezy coastal weather.

There are also some notable restaurants to check out, such as Oyster Club & Treehouse, the Engine Room, Port of Call, Mystic Pizza, and more.

Don’t forget the Mystic Aquarium.

Conde Nast Traveler lists Mystic as ‘secret foodie destination’

Other New England cities on the list include Duxbury in Massachusetts, Block Island in Rhode Island, Fishers Island in New York, The Farm Coast in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, and Camden in Maine.
