Fatal crash in Charles County under investigation

INDIAN HEAD, MD—Maryland State Police are investigating a fatal crash that claimed the life of a local man Wednesday evening in Charles County. The incident, involving one vehicle, happened shortly before 9.30pm on westbound Livingston Road, east of Marbury Freeland Place.

Tyvon Gray, 34, of Cheltenham, Maryland, was the driver and sole occupant of a Chevrolet Suburban. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Charles County Emergency Medical Services.

Preliminary findings suggest Gray lost control of the vehicle, which then left the road and crashed. The investigation is investigating whether adverse weather conditions contributed to the accident.
