NEW SPRINGFIELD – Vivian Reesh, 88, passed away Tuesday morning, May 28, 2024, at Hospice House.

Vivian was born April 9, 1936 in Campbell, a daughter of Arthur and Lena McLaughlin King.

She graduated from Wilson High School in 1954 and married Richard Reesh on November 1, 1991. She worked in the bakery and video department of the Valu-King in North Lima. Vivian attended Greenford Christian Church and enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish her fond memory of her husband Richard; children, Jeff (Doreen) Gustafson of Columbiana, Cheryl Corey of Alabama and Gary Ripple of New Springfield; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Arthur (Barb) King of Austintown, Edward King and James King, both of Struthers, and Gwen Smith of Austintown.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, Jay Corey; and sister, Shirley Durflinger.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Seederly-Mong and Beck Funeral Home, 11500 Market St., North Lima, with Pastor David Allman officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 a.m. Saturday until the time of service.

Burial will follow at New Springfield Lutheran Cemetery.
